The site for the wedding of Rachel & Rusty was Lake Lanier Islands Resort, Pineisle Pointe. The setting is beautiful, with vast views of the lakes and other nearby islands. Although the weather prohibited us from having the ceremony outside as planned, the location was changed to Pineisle Center where Rich Larsen of Creative Events by Sunflowers, created an intimate setting with a lovely Chuppah as the focal point. The style of the decor was Rustic Elegance and Rich created beautiful decor that fit the theme perfectly. The colorful florals mixed with natural elements like birch wood vases and cut tree disks gave the rustic look, but in such an elegant style.
In addition to being Rustic Elegance, another theme was music. The couple selected some of their favorite songs and instead of numbering the tables, they named them with the titles from their list of favs. On each table, there was an informational document that gave the name of the song, the artist and the lyrics. At each place setting, a slip of paper containing lyrics from a portion of the song was placed. Throughout the reception, many of these songs were played by the band.
Since the Groom and his family are from New Orleans, it was fitting that the Groom’s cakes were traditional da Bouche. They were actually flown here from New Orleans so that the family was assured they were the “real thing”.
This wedding was definitely a hit if you have a sweet-tooth, because not only was their wedding cake and da Bouche cake, there was also a Gelato Cart that offered a variety of yummy flavors for guests to enjoy!!
As a favor, guests were treated to heart-shaped cookies and cartons of milk as they left the reception – which was a huge hit.
Other vendors we were pleased to partner with were Glen of Pixel This! photography, Bulletproof Band, Rabbi Lebow, Dreamy Gelato and The Baking Grounds.
We wish Rachel & Rusty a lifetime of Happiness!!!!

Amanda and Lorenz selected Chateau Elan as the location for their wedding. It was the perfect place for all of their guests who traveled from all over to come together and enjoy the weekend festivities!
Amanda and her bridal party began their day receiving hair and make-up services from The Moore Agency. Everyone looked so beautiful!
The wedding dress which was purchased at Wedding Angels was spectacular with beading, asymmetrical bands, and ruching. The bridesmaids dresses were Emerald green and purchased at David’s Bridal.
The guys looked handsome in their classic black tuxes with the pop of color in their ties to match the bridesmaids dresses. The gentlemen’s formal attire came from Savvi.
The floral decor was provided by Your Event Solution. Using the deep pink, purple and green tones for the color palette created an elegant look for the decor.
The ceremony which was in the Atrium of Chateau Elan was set in the round with the Chuppah in the center. This allowed all guests to view the couple saying their vows. The beautiful music for the ceremony was provided by Harpist, Lisa Handman.
We enjoyed working with Laura Tarquino of Vosamo Photography who captured all of the beauty of the day. Joseph Leone of Weddings by Joseph provided the videography of the wedding ~ it’s always a pleasure to work with him.
After a delicious dinner, guests were treated to the delicious wedding cake from The Baking Grounds. And just in case they didn’t have enough sugar from the cake, a Candy Buffet was provided containing some of the couples favorite selections.
As a special treat {and surprize} to the couple and their guests, the Bride’s sister sang a song dedicated to her sister and new brother-in-law.
The crowd was on the dance floor from the time they entered the Ballroom until the last dance song of the evening thanks to the amazing sounds of the Rupert’s Orchestra. It was a good thing that Flip Flops were provided for the guests since they danced all night long!
We were so pleased to work with this couple and their families for this special occasion. We wish Amanda and Lorenz a lifetime of Happiness!!!!
