Sign for hashtag Four Seasons Hotel ~ Atlanta Bright and Early on the wedding day, the team from Formal Faces arrived to make all of the ladies more beautiful than they usually are.  The bride wore her long tresses in a half-up, half-down style with gentle curls falling past her shoulders.   The Beautiful Bride Touching up the lips before the ceremony.   The girls were adorably dressed in matching, monogrammed robes  – a gift from the bride.  This made for some cute photos!  Before it was time to get Jessie in her dress, the girls and the mother of the Bride participated in a toast to the new Mrs. to be! The girls Empty glasses = missing Bubbly Popping the Bubbly! Cheers! Cheers to the Bride! Once the toasting was complete, it was time to get Jessie into her dress.  The dress she selected came from Sweet Elegance Bridal salon.  The designer was Allure.  The gown was ivory and the style was a fluffy ballgown which was very princess like.  Her cathedral-length veil had delicate lace detail and swarovski crystals. The wedding party and guests were transported from the host hotel, The Four Seasons, by two of the GT Stinger’s.  This provided a fun and memorable experience for the guests whether they were GT fans or not. Wedding Party and Guests rode in style on the Tech Trolley Bridesmaids and Brides brother on the Trolley going to the church As a special treat during the ceremony, the guests were serenaded by Lisa Kelly, formerly of the Celtic Women.  She sang several selections during the wedding. Party on Dancing crowd Couple dancing One special activity incorporated into the reception that is steeped in tradition, especially in the South, is the Cake Pulls.  Dating back to the Victorian Era, the single ladies (in our case, the Bridesmaids) each pull a ribbon out that has been placed in the cake.  On the end of the ribbon is a charm.  Each charm has a special meaning, for instance, whoever pulls the charm of a ring is said to be the next to get married.  The bride and bridesmaids had so much fun partaking in this old tradition! Amanda & Lorenz Wedding among the Grapes!!

Amanda and Lorenz selected Chateau Elan as the location for their wedding.  It was the perfect place for all of their guests who traveled from all over to come together and enjoy the weekend festivities!

Amanda and her bridal party began their day receiving hair and make-up services from The Moore Agency.  Everyone looked so beautiful!

The wedding dress which was purchased at Wedding Angels was spectacular with beading, asymmetrical bands, and ruching.  The bridesmaids dresses were Emerald green and purchased at David’s Bridal.

The guys looked handsome in their classic black tuxes with the pop of color in their ties to match the bridesmaids dresses.  The gentlemen’s formal attire came from Savvi.

The floral decor was provided by Your Event Solution.  Using the deep pink, purple and green tones for the color palette created an elegant look for the decor.

The ceremony which was in the Atrium of Chateau Elan was set in the round with the Chuppah in the center.   This allowed all guests to view the couple saying their vows. The beautiful music for the ceremony was provided by Harpist, Lisa Handman.

We enjoyed working with Laura Tarquino of Vosamo Photography who captured all of the beauty of the day.  Joseph Leone of Weddings by Joseph provided the videography of the wedding ~ it’s always a pleasure to work with him.

After a delicious dinner, guests were treated to the delicious wedding cake from The Baking Grounds.  And just in case they didn’t have enough sugar from the cake, a Candy Buffet was provided containing some of the couples favorite selections.

As a special treat {and surprize} to the couple and their guests, the Bride’s sister sang a song dedicated to her sister and new brother-in-law.

The crowd was on the dance floor from the time they entered the Ballroom until the last dance song of the evening thanks to the amazing sounds of the Rupert’s Orchestra. It was a good thing that Flip Flops were provided for the  guests since they danced all night long!

A Look Back at Elsa & Brian!!! (Too gorgeous for just one post)

Posted in Weddings tagged , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , at 11:40 am by JBEvents

I hope you will indulge me as I share images from one of our early Spring weddings.  When the original blog post was made, the images used were mostly my snapshots which of course didn’t do justice to the beauty of the wedding.  The images here have been provided by the actual photographer, Slava Slavik

This gorgeous wedding was the result of a wonderful couple and a great group of vendors that worked together to create the bride’s vision in what can only be described as a stunningly beautiful wedding!

Special thanks go to the following:

Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, The Georgian Terrace Hotel, EventScapes, a division of CCP Events, Chair Covers and Linens, Classic Cheesecakes and Cakes, Slava Slavik, Atlanta Bands and DJ’s, Event Rentals Unlimited, Button It Up, Weddings by Joseph Leone, and Stylist Kori Smith.
