A Day in the Park for Sara & Evan

Posted in Weddings tagged , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , at 2:41 pm by JBEvents

As Sara sat on the window ledge of her Bridal Suite at the Georgian Terrace Hotel watching the rain fall in Midtown, she refused to let the weather dampen her spirits but instead focused on the amazing celebration that would be taking place in a few, short hours.  Just like Dick Van Dyke in the Broadway production of Bye, Bye, Birdie ~ we were all singing “Gray skies are gonna clear up, put on a happy face”, and they actually did!!!

The Moore Agency provided the hair and make-up services for the bride and as always did a fabulous job.  Sara was stunning!

Frank and Wendy Gibson were the photographers for the day and they certainly had a lot of beauty to work with.  Pre-ceremony photos began at the hotel and with all of the amazing architectural details of this piece of Atlanta History, they were able to capture so many gorgeous images.

The bride selected her bridesmaids gowns from Bella Bridesmaid.  They were a blush chiffon and the fit and style was very elegant.

When the time came to head over to the Church, The Bridal Party boarded a Trolley from Great Knight Tours that took them to the beautiful Peachtree Christian Church.  The Groom and Groomsmen were also taken by Trolley to the church where they had their time with the photographers.

Sara wanted to have the flowers for the bouquets, boutineers and ceremony décor to be more subdued in color and focused more on whites, creams, blush with a touch of purple ~ however, she wanted the colors to be more intense for the reception.  Larry and Greg of Foxgloves and Ivy did an amazing job on the floral décor.  The centerpieces were gorgeous!!!  The Estate Table was especially stunning!  Since we had a very large table to accommodate over 20 guests, that dictated the need for rather extensive décor.  Larry and Greg used large white candelabra and topped them with luscious arrangements and swags of crystals.  They were just perfect and created such a special look and feel for the Estate Table.  The other guest tables had a variety of centerpieces incorporating varying sized candles and floral arrangements.  Larry and Greg truly captured the vision that Sara had for her wedding!!

The linens, which we choose from Chair Covers and Linens were perfect and provided just the “romantic” look and feel we were going for.  As a special touch, the chairs at the Estate Table had brooches attaching the chair ties for extra bling.   During Cocktail Hour, a rose-colored texture linen was used on some of the tables, while an ivory linen was used on others.  The contrast between the two created a lovely setting that was both romantic and elegant.  The guest tables linen was a very soft color that was a mix between ivory and taupe with a pink undertone.

One very creative aspect of the wedding was that Sara provided a Calendar consisting of photos of she and Evan and had each guest find their Birthday and “sign” their greeting on that date.  They will be able to enjoy the calendar during the coming year while remembering those who shared in their joy at the wedding!!

To further enhance the setting, PPi provided lighting in the tent.  The glow created from the uplights added to the romantic feel of the wedding.

The beautiful and delicious wedding cake, which was a variety of Cheesecake flavors from the always amazing Classic Cheesecakes and Cakes was a HUGE hit with the guests!! They loved the cake so much that many went back for seconds (and I’m not naming names, but I saw some even going back for thirds!)

Shimmer Band provided through East Coast Entertainment, were the entertainment for the evening and they kept the crowd on their feet dancing all night long.

Guests had fun taking photos in the Photo Booth provided by ShutterBooth and were able to take photos away with them as a favor while also leaving a copy of the photo with a personal note for the couple.

When the time came for the party to end, guests lined the stairs and held up sparklers as Sara and Evan made their way through to the waiting vintage Rolls Royce from A Lovely View of Heaven that whisked them away to begin their honeymoon!!!

We were so pleased to have worked with this couple and their families to create and produce this gorgeous {and flawless} wedding and we wish a lifetime of happiness to Sara & Evan!!!

A huge THANK YOU to Frank Gibson for sharing the majority of these images with just a few of my snapshots of some of the details!  Please enjoy!

Maria & Hiram tie the knot!!!

Posted in Weddings tagged , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , at 10:51 pm by JBEvents

Sunny skies were shining down for the wedding of Maria & Hiram, even though the temps were rather chilly for this out-of-door Fall wedding.  There had been so much preparation for this wedding which included the building of a “chapel” at the home of the bride where the ceremony and then later the dinner reception took place.  This wasn’t just a small little building, but rather a fully covered area that was 74 feet long and 24 feet wide.  The ceiling was curved and had skylights which allowed the natural light to filter into the space.  At the far end was a fireplace which we used as the focal point for the ceremony.  Several chandelier were installed and large hanging floral arrangements and sheer drapery hung from the ceiling as well which softened the look.

The Moore Agency provided hair and make-up services at the home of the bride which made for a very comfortable setting for the bridal party to get ready.

The brides dress had a sweetheart neckline and a full skirt covered with soft, flowing “petals”.  The dress was gorgeous and Maria looked stunning in it!!! The bridesmaids wore long, flowing champagne colored dresses that were very flattering and beautiful on each of them.

We were so happy that we had the pleasure of working with Shari of Shari Zellers Photography!!   She is one of our favorite photographers and I can always be assured that she will take amazing photos while adhering to the timeline of the day ~ both of which are important.  Her images are always gorgeous and her creative eye sees things that make the photos unique while remaining timeless!  It’s no wonder that she is an award-winning photographer!!

It was also great to work with Jonathan Nye of Evolution Video again.  I’m sure the video will be a treasured keepsake for many years to come.  I have to brag on Jonathan as well – as he is such a talented guy and always makes clients comfortable which shows in his work.  He is one of those videographers that GETS all of the images and special moments of the day – but he does it in such a way as to not be obtrusive.  There is a reason he is on our preferred vendor list!!

This was one of those events where everything that was needed had to be rented, from the tables and chairs to the china and crystal and even the serving trays and tray-jacks.  There are many rental companies around, but based upon my experience, they are not all created equal.  I can always count on Event Rentals Unlimited to provide excellent customer service as well as quality products.  They didn’t disappoint this time!!

Linens were provided by Chair Covers and Linens.  Kudos go to Ashley Hess who worked with us at the last-minute to secure and arrange for linens for the wedding ~ after several phone calls, emails and careful verification that every table was accounted for – she was able to Rush the order through and have it delivered in the nick of time.  The linens looked beautiful!

Mauricio Velez of DJ Move was the DJ for the wedding.  He provided the ceremony and reception music.  Since both sides of the families were of Hispanic/Latin descent, he emceed in both Spanish and English.  He also played a variety of music to include American tunes as well as popular Spanish music.  Guests had a great time and there was quite a bit of Salsa dancing going on!!!

Cocktail Hour provided two different types of entertainment.  Inside the house, Bob Cardone, pianist, was playing.  He provided beautiful background music that allowed guests to mingle and to partake in the Photo Booth.  While outside in the front of the house, a Mariachi band entertained guests and created a festive  party atmosphere.

Catering and the floral décor was provided by relatives and friends of the family.  The meal consisted of Mexican dishes to include Chicken, Spanish Rice and fresh vegetables, prepared by the mother of the bride with the assistance of some of the relatives.  Judging from the empty plates that were cleared from the tables, I would say the guests truly enjoyed the meal!!!

What would a wedding be without a Wedding Cake?  We didn’t have to answer that question at this wedding.  In fact, we had a Brides cake and a Groom’s cake.  However, it did not stop there, as guests were also treated to a dessert display consisting of Mexican pastries provided by some of the grooms relatives which was a huge hit —- but even that wasn’t the end to the yummy sweets.  A Candy/Dessert buffet was also provided so guests could take sweets home with them to remember the wonderful event.  Now this was not your typical Candy/Dessert buffet – but rather one of homemade treats that were made by one of the bridesmaids.  There were mini Pecan tarts, cake pops, turtles, chocolate covered pretzels, Apple spice muffins, and Buckeyes in addition to regular mass-marketed candy varieties.  Monogrammed boxes in various sizes were provided for guests to make a To-Go box.

Since a catering company was not used, servers and bar-tenders had to be secured.  Black Tie Services was selected to provide the staffing for the event.

It is always recommended for a special event taking place at a personal residence,  to provide portable restrooms for the guests. This is true under many circumstances, and making sure to provide a reputable vendor is important.  Royal Restrooms was the vendor of choice for this wedding.

At the end of the night, the couple departed through Sparklers and entered into the waiting Rolls Royce ~ which whisked them away to begin their life of married bliss.

We were so pleased to work with this couple and family and wish Maria & Hiram a lifetime of Happiness!!!!!

Special thanks to Shari Zellers for sharing her beautiful images which are below (except for the last five which were my snapshots)!!!

Mitzvah & Weddings recap

Posted in Other Events, Weddings tagged , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , at 5:22 pm by JBEvents

What a Busy few weeks we have had!!!  In the past 3 weeks we have produced 5 amazing events!!  I can’t wait to catch you all up on the details of each but just to give you a sneak peek – here are just a few of the highlights!!

Mazel Tov ~ Harris & Sara

A ROCK themed B’nai Mitzvah held at The Tabernacle!!!  What an amazing event this was! Incredible venue, excellent vendors and a family that was so wonderful to work with!! Wilbur of EventScapes created some of the most unique and fabulous decor pieces for this event that I’ve ever seen.  Special features of this Mitzvah included a Karaoke Band surprise performance AND custom created Milk Shake station provided by FLIP Gourmet Burger Boutique.

Amira & Ibe ~ Wedded Bliss

This was truly a gorgeous wedding for a gorgeous couple!  Held at the Ritz-Carlton ~ Downtown with some of the top vendors in the area providing their services!  The décor was jaw-droppingly beautiful ~ thanks to Wilbur of EventScapes!  The always amazing Scott Mikell of Spectrum-Entertainment provided the reception entertainment and kept the crowd on the dance floor with a mix of American tunes as well as Arabic tunes for the couple’s homage.  The cakes from Classic Cheesecakes and Cakes…WOW…truly artistic creations with exquisite detail not to mention fabulous taste!

Ashley & Daniel ~ Married with the Fishes

You can’t help but love a wedding at the Georgia Aquarium!  Ashley & Daniel had a beautiful wedding with the help of Your Event Solutions, who created a one-of-a-kind Chuppah where the vows took place.  Allegro Strings provided the ceremony and Cocktail Hour music while the Atlanta ShowStoppers Band provided the high-energy entertainment keeping the dance floor filled all night long! We provided a Candy Buffet that was a HUGE hit!

Sara & Evan ~ Midtown Atlanta Wedding in Piedmont Park

Peachtree Christian Church was the setting for the vows while The Garden Tent at Park Tavern in Piedmont Park was the reception venue.  The bride had a dream of being a Cinderella bride and she did not disappoint.  We had the pleasure of working with some of our favorite vendors on this wedding as well such as Foxgloves & Ivy, Classic Cheesecakes and Cakes, Chair Covers & Linens and Shimmer the Band.

Intimate Family Gathering ~ Garden Tent

Sometimes, it does happen that things don’t go as planned.  Unfortunately for one of our clients, we had a cancellation of the wedding 48 hours before the big day.  I have to tell you that this was an emotional situation for everyone involved and while this is never the desired outcome, the reason I mention it is because as the Event Consultant, we handle “un-doing” of the plans for the affected families.  Since a cancellation is not planned or anticipated, the clients usually don’t know where to turn and what to do – especially since they are also dealing with all of the emotions involved.  Having the Consultant handle the details of the cancellation and providing the information to all vendors as well as following back up with the clients on any financial issues – at least helps get them through the difficult time.  Although the wedding didn’t take place, we did turn this into a small intimate family dinner and the clients were very pleased with the services provided.

As soon as time allows — a more detailed post for each of these amazing events will be posted.  Until then – I hope you enjoy these snapshots!!

Check back soon!!!

A Look Back at Elsa & Brian!!! (Too gorgeous for just one post)

I hope you will indulge me as I share images from one of our early Spring weddings.  When the original blog post was made, the images used were mostly my snapshots which of course didn’t do justice to the beauty of the wedding.  The images here have been provided by the actual photographer, Slava Slavik

This gorgeous wedding was the result of a wonderful couple and a great group of vendors that worked together to create the bride’s vision in what can only be described as a stunningly beautiful wedding!

Special thanks go to the following:

Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, The Georgian Terrace Hotel, EventScapes, a division of CCP Events, Chair Covers and Linens, Classic Cheesecakes and Cakes, Slava Slavik, Atlanta Bands and DJ’s, Event Rentals Unlimited, Button It Up, Weddings by Joseph Leone, and Stylist Kori Smith.

Wish Upon A Wedding ~ Atlanta Chapter

Posted in Other Events, Weddings tagged , , , , , , , at 9:44 am by JBEvents

The Atlanta Chapter of Wish Upon A Wedding of which I am the Chapter President, hosted a Vendor Meet and Greet last evening.

As part of the Wish Upon A Wedding organization, our mission was to reach out to vendors and get them more familiar with Wish Upon A Wedding’s mission: Helping couples who are facing life-altering circumstances, such as a terminal illness or other severe event in their lives.

Wish Upon A Wedding is a fairly young organization to Atlanta, and we have been pushing hard to meet people in the medical community, get the wedding industry familiar with the organization, and recruit volunteers to make it all come together.

We had some incredibly generous vendors for the event: StudioWed offered us the event space, Grande Event Catering catered delicious appetizers, Toni Cole of Bottoms Up bartending tended bar for us, Edge Design did a fabulous job on centerpieces and decor,  Event Rentals Unlimited generously donated plates and glasses and Chair Covers and Linens provided a beautiful specialty linen for our Registration Table.  We are so appreciative of these vendors for partnering with us to host the gathering.

Those of us in the special events industry – weddings in particular, are passionate about providing our services and products to our clients to make sure that their special day is everything they have dreamed of.  For us to be able to do something to “give back” – our organization is an excellent forum for being able to do so.  Every couple deserves to have the wedding of their dreams, and for those who are going through the difficulty of a terminal illness or life-altering experience, the experience of a wonderful wedding in my opinion is even more important.

Our vast list of Wish Granter Volunteers is made up of vendors who share this vision.  Being able to grant the wish of a well-deserving couple brings with it an overwhelming sense of joy for everyone involved with the planning and execution of the wedding.  If you are not currently on the list for volunteering, it’s not too late.  Please go to the website http://www.wishuponawedding.org and click on the How to Help tab where you will find a Wish Granter Application.  You will be glad that you did!!

Once again, I want to thank all of the vendors involved last night for their participation as well as all of the hard work from our Board in putting the event together.  Be on the lookout for more upcoming events.

Our photographer last evening, Matt Giddens, captured the following images.

Molly & Danny got married…

Posted in Weddings tagged , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , at 6:45 pm by JBEvents

A beautiful Spring day was the backdrop for the wedding of Molly & Danny.

The “girls” started the day getting beautified by the excellent team from Formal Faces. Jennifer, Julie & Courtney worked their magic on the girls and created some really stunning and interesting hair styles. The girls were all so happy with their services and they all looked even more beautiful than they already were.

Molly and her bridesmaids purchased their dresses at New Natalies. Molly chose a gorgeous gown that had intricate detail with a sweetheart neck and low back. The bridesmaids wore a figure-flattering royal blue chiffon gown in two different styles.

The florals, provided by The Flower Post, were all white with green accents. The bridesmaid bouquets were wrapped with a green satin ribbon. The bouquets looked so pretty against the blue dresses.

Capturing the images of the day was Catherine Park of My Life Photography. Once Molly was dressed, we went out onto the streets of Midtown for some fun and beautiful city portraits. The wedding party felt like celebrities as the passersby honked and yelled out compliments and Congratulations.

The wedding party transported to the church in a fun and stylish way…on a Trolley.  The Atlanta Trolley and the Georgia Tech Trolley were used to transport the wedding party as well as guests.

The ceremony was held at Shrine of the Immaculate Conception with Father Henry Gracz presiding.

After the ceremony then it was time for the party to begin.  Park Tavern ~ Piedmont Room was the setting.  As guests arrived, they were treated to delicious hors d’oeuvres and beverages which included a signature cocktail, The Blushing Bride.  It was a huge hit.

Molly selected a Royal Blue moire linen for her guest tables from Chair Covers and LinensThe Flower Post provided arrangements in beautiful silver vases filled with white flowers.  The contrast of the white against the royal blue was gorgeous.

With Piedmont Park and the lovely views provided, Catherine had some fun with the wedding party prior to their joining the Reception.  The wedding party was such a fun group.

Guests had such fun using the Photo Booth.  There were  props that some guests chose to use in their photos, while others just relied on their own creativity.

Once the Wedding Party was introduced and had their shining moment, Molly and Danny were introduced in and had their first dance as a married couple.

The Wedding and Groom’s Cakes were provided by the ever amazing Mark Lotti of Classic Cheesecakes and Cakes.  The wedding cake was just gorgeous with a matching pattern in Molly’s dress.  Giving a nod to the Groom’s New York roots, the Groom’s cake was a NY Mets design with little baseballs trimming the bottom.  Guests were coming back for seconds of the delicious cakes.

Keeping the crowd entertained throughout the evening was the incomparable Scott Mikell of Spectrum-Entertainment.  It is always such a pleasure working with Scott because I know that everyone is going to have a wonderful and fun time.

Delicious personalized chocolates were provided as favors for the guests.

Since the couple was moving to New York right after the wedding, it was appropriate that the Last Dance Song of the night was New York, New York.  Although the wedding ended on a high note, there was a tad of sadness from the bridesmaids since they would be having to say goodbye to their dear friend.  But – I see many trips to The Big Apple in store for all of them.

The couple departed along with their guests on the Trolley at the end of the evening.  And from what I heard, the party continued at the St. Regis.

We were so pleased to work with this couple and to create a flawless wedding for them.  And now, we wish Molly and Danny a lifetime of Happiness.

Victorian theme for Elsa & Brian!!!

Posted in Weddings tagged , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , at 8:26 pm by JBEvents

The wedding celebration of Elsa & Brian was more than just beautiful ~ it was a weekend full of touching celebrations.

On Thursday, surrounded by close friends and family, the couple exchanged vows at Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.  After the small and intimate ceremony, the couple and a small group of family and friends celebrated at the home of a close friend.

Friday, guests were able to partake in one of Atlanta’s finest festivals, The Dogwood Festival.  The Atlanta Trolley was used to provide guest transportation from the hotel to Piedmont Park so that  they could enjoy an afternoon at the Festival.

The Rehearsal Dinner was held at Baraonda Cafe.  A delicious family style meal was served including pasta and chicken Marsala.  Each guest had a choice of their dessert, but what could be better than Tiramisu?

Saturday brought together a team of excellent vendors, most of whom we were delighted to recommend.

Elsa choose an Edwardian/Victorian theme.  The color scheme was purple, silver, and white.  This theme and the colors worked perfectly in the Grand Ballroom of The Georgian Terrace Hotel.

Robyn Feinberg of RSVP Invitations created the custom invitations for the couple.  She did an outstanding job.  The monogram was carried through on all of the paper products created even including the Escort Cards and Table Numbers.

Wilbur of EventScapes created the gorgeous florals which included roses, orchids, stock, hydrangea and Delphinium.  For the ceremony, white sheer drapery created a backdrop while ambient lighting created a romantic glow.  Two pedestals holding lush arrangements with hanging votives flanked the stage while two other arrangements  on Corinthian columns were placed at the beginning of the aisle.  A white carpet was used as the aisle runner.

After the ceremony, guests were invited downstairs for the Cocktail Hour where they were greeted with beverages and delicious hors d’oeuvres.

Once guests were enjoying Cocktail Hour, the vendors began transforming the Grand Ballroom for the reception.

Linens in the luscious hue of Victorian lilac graced the tables provided by Chair Covers and Linens

To add to the elegance of the overall look, Silver Chiavari chairs from Event Rentals Unlimited were used as were old-fashioned saucer type champagne flutes.

When guests were invited back into the Ballroom for dinner and dancing, they found their seat assignments displayed on a life-sized silver frame.  Truly an elegant presentation.

Tall silver candelabra with elegant floral arrangements placed a top centered the tables from EventScapes.  The look was perfect within the Victorian theme.  Wilbur never disappoints!!!

Mark Lotti of Classic Cheesecakes and Cakes created the Bride’s and Groom’s cakes.  His cakes never cease to amaze me.  Not only were the cakes stunning, but the detail incorporated especially into the Groom’s cake was outstanding.  The Groom grew up in Reading, Pennsylvania and one of the symbols of the city was a Pagoda.  Brian has a piece of art that shows the Pagoda which we placed next to the Groom’s cake along with a description of the semblance of the cake.  In addition to the two cakes which consisted of various yummy flavors, guests were also treated to several varieties of Mark’s cheesecakes.

Button It Up provided a Green Screen for a photo booth which was a huge hit with all of the guests.  The couple provided additional props that guests had so much fun posing with.  I love this interactive type of activity which involves the guests while also providing memories for the couple.

Slava and Sarah Slavik were the photographers for the wedding.  Once I receive their professional photos, I’ll post an update – but for now, my snapshots will have to do.

Joseph Leone captured all of the festivities on video and I’m sure the couple will enjoy watching the video for years to come.

Ted Crowder of Atlanta Bands & DJ’s provided the entertainment for the evening and kept guests having fun on the dance floor.

PPi (Production People Inc) provided the lighting and customized GOBO.

Later in the evening, fun late-night snacks came out consisting of mini corn dogs and french fries.  This was a huge hit.

As guests departed, they were treated to a slice of cake in a custom box that too incorporated the monogram of the couple.

It was such a pleasure working with this couple to create their wedding.  We wish Elsa & Brian a lifetime of Happiness!!!!

Congratulations to Kristina & Nathan

Posted in Weddings tagged , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , at 4:39 pm by JBEvents

The weather was nothing less than perfect for the Spring wedding of Kristina & Nathan.  The theme of this wedding was Marie Antoinette goes on a picnic.  What started out as a DIY project ended up with professionals taking over to create stunning decor for this wedding.

Rande Miller of MH Floral Decor came in at the last minute and created amazing floral arrangements.  The clients had a lovely collection of milk-glass containers that Rande used for centerpieces.  In addition, there were other pieces that the clients had purchased for use in the decor – and Rande expertly incorporated them providing the overall look that the bride had envisioned.

As guests arrived, they were treated to Mint Juleps which they enjoyed sipping while mingling before the ceremony.  When it was time for guests to be seated, beautiful music from the Celtic Harp by Nella Rigell, beckoned the guests to take their seat.

The couple, surrounded by their closest friends and family exchanged vows at the home of the bride’s aunt.  Rev. Dawn Smith-Camacho presided over the ceremony which incorporated several cultural influences.

A Divine Event provided their exceptional cuisine and service.  Selections included a Shrimp and Grits station as well as a Mac & Cheese bar!!!!  A Divine Event is always such a pleasure to work with and clients are always pleased with the wickedly delicious food they provide.  Steve Moore and Ashton Flores were a pleasure to work with and they created a menu that was enjoyed by all.  The on-site team were top-notch and made sure that the guests were treated to an amazing and delicious experience.

Mike Walsh of Ampd Entertainment did a fantastic job of  providing the specific artists and songs that the client requested  – which was a compilation of Latin Jazz artists. Guests were treated to a particularly special  selection of songs at one point in the evening from the Brides latest CD.  Later in the evening,   Mike got to incorporate popular dance music which definitely got the guests out on the dance floor.

Julia Robbs and Amber of Our Labor of Love were behind the camera capturing all of the images.  The home was lushly landscaped and proved to be an appropriate setting for the wedding theme.  Julia and Amber were extremely easy to work with and I’m sure the photos will be amazing.

Guests were treated to two desserts – the wedding cake, which was filled with strawberries and raspberries and a traditional french pastry creation, a croquenbouche, as the groom’s cake.

TLC Rents and Event Rentals Unlimited provided the tables, chairs, linens, wedding arch, and the generator.

Specialty linens for the Cake Tables were graciously provided by Chair Covers and Linens.

My team did an excellent job (as always) to ensure that this wedding   – like all others that we produce – was flawless.

Wishing a lifetime of happiness to Kristina & Nathan!!!

A Beautiful DIY Wedding!!!

Posted in Weddings tagged , , , , , , , , , , , , at 3:35 pm by JBEvents

Regardless of a wedding’s budget, you can always have a beautiful wedding.  Such is the case with Ashley & Jon.

Starting with the personal flowers, the bride and her bridesmaids had a little Bouquet making Party.  Ashley purchased flowers from a wholesale flower outlet and then with instructions from the provider and us, they made the bouquets, boutonnieres and mothers flowers.  They turned out so nicely and offered a substantial cost savings.

Ashley set her wedding theme as Winter Wonderland ~ which for a Florida wedding is unique in any case.  Her color palette was royal blue, silver and white.  Because she was going to provide all of the decor herself, Ashley began searching for items that would fit into her theme a year in advance.  She found adorable candle stands and small blue and silver ornaments.  To give the idea of snow, she used white sparkly material which was placed in the center of the family style tables on top of which the candelabra and ornaments were placed.  She used blue table cloths for linens.  To enhance the look of the cake and Sweetheart Tables, we provided gorgeous linens from Chair Covers and Linens.  These linens added an extra  special touch to the room and pulled the look together.

The room was further enhanced with blue and silver garland and silver snowflakes!  We even had a Christmas Tree decorated in the same color pattern!  Even though it was 80 degrees outside, guests could get the sense of being in a Winter Wonderland when they entered the reception.

To involve the guests and create a lasting memory, a “photo booth” was set-up where guests could don fun items or just be themself while a photo was taken that will be placed in the Guest Book next to their personal message.

The guests feasted on pork loin, roasted red potatoes, green beans, macaroni and cheese, rolls and several other items.

Boxes of candy mints were placed at each guests seat as favors while bowls of M&M’s were on each table for guests to enjoy throughout the reception.

The Matron of Honor and one of the groomsmen offered meaningful toasts to the couple.

When the time came for the specialty dances, the bride and groom took the floor dancing to “From this Moment” by Shania Twain.  For a sweet twist, the bride then had a dance with her mom to “Mama’s Song” by Carrie Underwood.  The groom and his mom entered the same song half-way through.  To get the crowd on their feet, the Wedding Party was asked to get on the dance floor while the “Theme from Friends” played as all guests were then invited to join in the party.

The couple departed through a path of their family and friends blowing bubbles to wish them well.  As they drove away, they were still smiling after being surrounded by all of the love of those who celebrated their special day with them.

We wish Ashley & Jon a lifetime of Happiness!!!!
