A beautiful, sunny day with mild temperatures set the stage for the wedding of Erin & Tim.

Jenn and her team from Pure provided the Hair and Make-up services for the bridal party for a great start to the day.  The bride and her sisters (who were her attendants) got ready in the family home, which provided such a comfortable setting for the special day.

Paige of Once Like a Spark photography was the photographer.  She began capturing photos of the dress and all accessories at various locations throughout the house, giving some wonderful backdrops for the items that will have meaning for years to come.  Photos of the bride’s family also took place at the home before heading over to the Church.

Also on hand capturing the video images of the day was Jonathan (and Michael) of Evolution Video.  Jonathan is always such a pleasure to work with and his video’s are lasting treasures from the Special Day.  One trait of a videographer that is of extreme importance to me is one that is unobtrusive while expertly capturing the beauty and emotion of the day.  Jonathan always exceeds not only my expectations, but those of my clients as well!!!

Atlantic Limousine provided a limo to transport the bride, her attendants and her parents to the Church, St. John Neumann Catholic Church.  Meanwhile, the Groom, his Groomsmen (his brothers) and his parents arrived at the Church and met up with Paige for their pre-ceremony photos. After the ceremony, the limo took the wedding party to the off-site location for photos before delivering them to the reception venue.

The couple had quite a large group of guests travel from out of town for their wedding.  As a courtesy, they provided a Trolley to shuttle the guests from their hotel to the Church and then back to the hotel where they were transported by the Hotel’s shuttle to the Reception venue, 550 Trackside.

At the end of the ceremony, as the Bride & Groom were ready to make their way back up the aisle, from the back of the church, a bagpiper, played the recessional and postlude which was such a wonderful surprise for the guests.

Once all of the extended family photos were complete, the wedding party headed over to the Historic Square in Lawrenceville for some special photos.

Since the weather was so nice, guests were able to enjoy Cocktail Hour on the Terrace where they were able to mingle, watch trains go by as well as nibble on some yummy Hors D’oeuvres.

The groom built a special “frame” that held the Escort Cards. Each card was attached to the frame by a miniature clothes pin.  It was such a sweet display and guests were very intrigued by the design.

A Bokay by JoAnn provided the florals and the catering.  Each table had a slightly different centerpiece.  Some tables had tall centerpieces while others had low groupings.  The buffet had 3 beautiful arrangements adorning the presentation.

HH Deserts provided the wedding cake.  The five tier cake had a variety of interesting design components.  Three of the tiers had a lace design mimicking the bride’s dress, while one tier had a Monogram.

The bride prepared a few items {DIY} that added a nice, personal touch to the event.  She purchased four large pillows and had them embossed with the wedding date and their married names.  We placed them on a couple of sofas located in the venue.

She also prepared a sign that we hung above the Candy Buffet that said “Love Is Sweet”.  She also created adorable Favor bags which were brown paper bags that she attached a hand-dyed doily and labels on to.  They were perfect for the rustic theme.

A huge hit for the gentlemen was the Cigar Station.  The bride’s father purchased cigars which were placed on a table out on the terrace.

DJ Fernando of Lethal Rhythms provided the entertainment for the evening.  He kept the crowd energized all night long!!!

The evening ended with the couple departing through a Sparkler send-off to their waiting limo which took them to the after party before delivering them to their home where they celebrated their first night as a married couple.

We enjoyed working with these clients and wish Erin & Tim a lifetime of Happiness!!!

Fall wedding of Yun Mi & James!

Posted in Weddings tagged , , , , , , , , , , , , , at 10:18 am by JBEvents

It was a beautiful Fall day for the wedding of Yun Mi and James!  What a sweet couple they are.  This was one of those wedding that included the assistance of many friends providing services for the couple that made the day even more special.

The ceremony was held at the couple’s church, Karis Community Fellowship.  The ceremony was a traditional Korean ceremony.  The string ensemble was comprised of friends of the couple.  The bride’s own brother and sister were soloists.  Friends of the bride provided the floral décor for the wedding party, the church and at the first reception.  Six hundred and fifty or so of the couple’s and families closest friends were in attendance at the ceremony.  Immediately following the ceremony, following Korean culture, the bride, groom and both sets of parents bowed/greeted each of the guests as they left the sanctuary to go over to the first reception where they had a dinner of traditional Korean food.  After mingling with the myriad of guests for a while, the couple and many friends and family members departed and headed over to the second reception which was held at 550 Trackside in Lawrenceville.  Since dinner was served at the first reception, the second reception was a dessert party.  There were mini-cupcakes, and Edy’s Ice Cream cart with yummy toppings and a Candy Bar.

The photographers for the wedding, Craig Obrist Photography, provided a “photo booth” at the second reception which was a huge hit.  The couple provided many options of props in addition to the ones the photographer provided.  Guests certainly had fun taking various photos throughout the evening.

Another friend of the couple provided the DJ services.  And one of the highlights of the evening was having the bride’s brother sing the couples first dance song.  It was not only beautiful but very touching!

One very unique item that was used, was an original art creation made for the couple.  The picture was a tree.  Guests were then provided with two different colored ink pads and were asked to place a finger print as a “leaf” on the tree and then to sign their print.  Not only will this be a lasting memento of the wedding, but a wonderful piece of art to hang in their home.

The couple departed through a path of sparklers as they got into their car and drove away to begin their life together.

We wish Yun Mi and James a lifetime of Happiness!!!  We were so pleased to have been a part of their special day.
