Lisa and Brian Tied the Knot

With the skyline of Atlanta in the background and the Weeping Willow trees framing the couple, Lisa and Brian exchanged vows on the warm Spring evening in the Meadow at Park Tavern.

View of the Ceremony Area

The bride looked stunning in her gown.  It had a “Spanish” influence in the layers of lace ruffles.  The bridesmaids wore a deep purple gown that was embellished with a crystal brooch at the waist and with layers of ruffles in the back.  The groom and his groomsmen looked very handsome in their black tuxes with deep plum accessories.

The amazing florals were provided by Andy Beach.  His attention to detail resulted in a beautiful look for the bouquets and centerpieces.  I was especially intrigued by some of the vases he used because they added an extra detail that you would not expect.

Since the couple will be honeymooning in Italy, they incorporated the theme of Rome into their reception.  The escort cards were displayed on a wine bottle cork.  The table names were all cities in Italy.  Even the wedding cake had grapes and vines on it.

Ceremony and reception music was provided by DJ Eric ~ Eric Anthony Productions.  Traditional selections were used for the ceremony with the Bridal Party processing to Canon in D.

A very popular alternative to the Unity Candle is the Sand Ceremony.  I highly recommend this option to couples that have their wedding outside, as you don’t have to be concerned with wind blowing flames out.  To me, the sand ceremony truly illustrates the couple coming together as the grains of sand unite in the vessel.  Usually, the container that is used for this purpose will be one that can be saved and displayed in the home of the couple always as a remembrance of the coming together of the couple.

The officiant was one of my all-time favorites, Jeremiah O’Keefe-West.  He has such a way of making the couple calm during the ceremony and he always is able to interject humor in an appropriate way.  I have to admit, I’m partial to his Irish brogue.

The Dorn Brothers were capturing all of the special moments with their outstanding photography.  You can view the Engagement session by viewing:  Their creativity certainly provides beautiful photographs.    We were so pleased to have been a part of this happy occasion and wish a Lifetime of Happiness to Lisa and Brian.
