Happiness Today and Always for Gina and Bobby!!!

The threatening clouds and forecast could not put a damper on the excitement and wedding for Gina and Bobby.  This adorable couple chose to have their wedding celebration at Evergreen Marriott Resort in Stone Mountain.  The ceremony was held at the Evergreen Lakeside Pavilion while the reception was held in the Rotunda Ballroom at the Resort.

Gina was a stunning bride.  She selected a gorgeous gown designed by Pronovias.  She wore her long hair down, slightly curled and added a beautiful flower accessory that had a few small feathers attached instead of a veil.  She truly looked like a model.

The bridesmaids wore an Apple Green long flowing gown.  The style was very flattering on each attendant.

EventScapes ~ ~ provided the personal flowers.   The colors for the wedding were green and purple and Janis Greenfield of EventScapes did a fantastic job of creating the florals that perfectly exemplified the theme.  The florals were absolutely gorgeous. Gina’s bouquet was slightly cascading while the attendants carried more of a rounded bouquet.

The always amazing Nadia D ~ ~ captured the day with her creative and fashion-forward sense of photography.  The photos represented here are NOT her photos – but check back soon for an update including a few snippets of the photographs.  It is always such an honor to work with Nadia because her attention to detail with what she captures always blows me (and my clients) away.  She also has a way of making the clients feel so relaxed and comfortable – which is key!!

Amati Chamber Music Ensemble ~ ~ provided a string trio for the ceremony.  The lovely strains of their music created a beautiful setting for the wedding.  The group is composed of professional musicians, some who play with the Atlanta Symphony.  This is favorite string ensemble because Sarah Paul (Manager) always takes the time to make my clients feel so comfortable and confident with their music selections for their special day, and I always know that they will provide a higher than expected level of service.

Two of the bride’s Aunts provided the décor for the reception.  Keeping things very simple, candles, petals and craft rocks along with an Angel statue graced each table providing a grouping that was both simple and elegant.  Purple tulle was also used in a billowing fashion to provide a very soft base for the décor.

Maren Nicholas, Dreamweaver Calligraphy ~ produced both the Escort and the Place Cards and they looked beautiful.  I can always count on Maren to provide my clients with an exceptional product in a very quick fashion.  She was able to also incorporate the bride’s color scheme in her cards and I heard many compliments from guests about how beautiful the writing was.   Gina was also extremely pleased – which is what means the most to me when I recommend a vendor.

When it was time to party, Nick Crowder of Atlanta Band’s and Dj’s ~, ~ kept the crowd entertained with his non-stop music.  The dinner hour had selections that were somewhat sedated but once dinner was over he cranked the tunes up and kept the guests and especially the bride out on the dance floor until it was time for the party to end.  This DJ company is one that I recommend all of the time because I know that they will provide the services for my client making it as easy as possible for them to select music, etc., plus they are not cheesy (unless you want them to be).  They know how to read a crowd in order to make sure that the party is a success.  And after all, that’s what the clients want.

Jeff and Karen Schwerzler of The Frosted Pumpkin ~ ~ provided the Brides and Groom’s cakes.  The Groom’s cake was a chocolate cake with chocolate fudge/ganache frosting covered in berries.  This cake had some of the biggest Strawberries that I have ever seen.  The Bride’s cake was a round, 3 tier Coconut Cake with Swiss Dot design.  At the base of each tier was green ribbon matching the bridesmaids dresses.  There were clusters of flowers complimenting the top of the cake as well as in a free-form pattern on the other 2 layers.  As you walked past the cake, you couldn’t help but smell the delicious aroma and judging from the plates of the guests, the cakes were truly enjoyed by all.

At the end of the evening when the couple was making their departure, they told me that they had a fantastic time and everything was just perfect.  They made their way through a sea of bubbles as everyone wished them well.

We were so pleased to have been a part of this wedding and wish Gina and Bobby a lifetime of Happiness and Caffeine.
